Dr. John H. Ambrose Jr.

Dr. John H. Ambrose is a native of Forsyth but has resided in Juliette with his wife Dr. Valerie Ambrose since 2010. They have two young sons Jack and Evan, and they welcomed a daughter Ally in March 2013. Dr. Ambrose and his family attend Ingleside Baptist church, and are very involved in the Middle Georgia community. Dr. Ambrose spends his free time with his family, and he is an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman.

  • Purchased and began Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry, 2011

Dr. Ambrose is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Central District Dental Society. He is also a Shriner and a Mason where he supports the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals.


Dr. James Hall

Dr. James Hall is a native of Macon, Georgia and has resided in the city with his wife Beverly since 1973. They have two adult daughters. Dr. Hall has been involved in his church and community for many years.

  • Northwestern University Dental School, Pediatric Dentistry Master of Science degree, 1969
  • Two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry, Children’s Memorial Hospital, 1967-1969
  • Served two years in the United States Army, Chief of Pediatric Dentistry, 1969-1971

Dr. Hall is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Society of Dentistry for Children. He is a past president of the Georgia Dental Association and has served dentistry on many boards and committees.

Dr. Hall serves on the Board of the Macon Volunteer Clinic and as a Public Policy Advocate for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has published numerous articles in both scientific and law journals. In 2004, Dr. Hall received the Georgia Dental Association’s highest honor, the Award of Merit, in recognition of his contributions and service to the profession.


Dr. Brandon Pennington

Dr. Brandon Pennington joins us from Birmingham, Alabama. After completing his dental school and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he and his family returned to his wife’s hometown of Macon to join Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry. They have one child, a little girl named Clark, who was born in February of 2017. They are members of Ingleside Baptist Church and supporters of the Museum of Arts and Sciences as well as the Children’s Hospital. Dr. Pennington enjoys spending time with his family as well as a variety of outdoor activities.

Dr. Valerie Ambrose

Dr. Valerie Woods Ambrose is originally from Rome, Georgia. Dr. Ambrose enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She welcomed a baby girl in March 2013 who joins two older brothers.

Dr. Ambrose is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Georgia Dental Association. She is also a member of the Central District Dental Society.


Dr. Jenn Jackson

Dr. Jenn Jackson is originally from Marietta, Georgia, but has been practicing in the Macon area since 2000. She is very excited to be joining the family at Ambrose Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Jenn is married to her wonderful husband Michael and is the proud mother to her two young children, Ethan and Barrett. In her free time, she enjoys the beach, fishing, and relaxing by the pool with family and friends. Dr. Jenn loves animals and enjoys cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs during football season.

Dr. Jenn enjoys treating adults and children. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Society. She is also certified in CPR, ACLS, and Oral Sedation Dentistry.

Dr. Jenn is dedicated to her patients, her advancement in knowledge within the dental field, and changing the oral health in and around the Macon community.
